What a great weekend for Vineland youth athletes! It started off on Friday with the Blitz football camp featuring Isaih “Pop” Pacheco at Gittone Stadium! Hundreds of young athletes came out to learn the fundamentals of football from coaches from the Blitz, Coach Dan Russo and the Vineland High School Fighting Clan, and our very own Isaih “Pop” Pacheco, Rutgers University. Autographed pictures, great instruction, and free hot dogs for the kids plus free raffles for autographed gear and football registrations! Come out to our summer conditioning and 3 day camp in July and get your free t-shirt featuring Pacheco #10!

The weekend finished by wrapping up our inaugural season of Blitz NFL Flag Football. We had hundreds of kids playing this season, getting in shape, getting ready for the upcoming tackle football season in the most progressive, competitive football league, the SJUFL. Most importantly, the kids had tons of fun and there were smiles all around every Sunday, with everyone getting their hands on the ball and just having fun! Each week there was music, dancing, smiles, and football! Today we finished up with free pizza and soda and everyone asking when registration for flag opens again and when is our next session for tackle!

We want to give a huge shout out to the Vineland Soccer Association for their collaboration and help ensuring the players had benches to sit on each week!

We also want to thank The Sweet Tooth for coming out to every game and donating back proceeds to the league! We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and it makes a difference!

Registrations are up and it’s going to be a great season of football on all levels!

Interested in playing? We still have some open registrations for cheerleading (closes Wednesday) and for Football (hurry closes soon!) You can register here now:
